The design process starts by evaluating your existing area. It is important to know the area you are working on so that you can buy the necessary elements and make some adjustments especially when deciding on what kind of greenery you will put.  You cannot just put any kind of plant or shrub or tree because it might not survive the environment.  Of course, the area you are developing must also be taken into consideration when planning your design.  This way, things will be more efficient and the chances of the plants surviving and thriving will be higher. You can also take a look into the different garden styles to see if you prefer to have that replicated in your own yard.  Aside from plants and flowers, you can also include rocks, fountains, trellises and other “hardscaping” elements to accentuate the look of your garden.
